Become a partner with the Upstream Journal! Join our effort to tell the stories of people affected by injustice. Donations go directly to help pay the costs of maintaining, and promoting (if funds permit), the web site and podcast.
And what about this “Buy me a coffee? option” That’s also super easy, just click and you are on your way with one-time or monthly donations, either by credit card or Paypal.

Who is on the Upstream team, and why should you join us as a supporter?
The Upstream interns are highly motivated, brilliant young people starting out on their career paths. With the Upstream Journal they get solid experience that builds their confidence and capacity. They engage with key people involved in the issues they follow, and then communicate about that experience through journalistic writing along with audio and video production. As you can see in their articles and podcasts they do a great job in exploring issues of social justice and human rights.
Please consider making monthly donations, which would help us with predicting the finances and stabilize the future of the magazine.
Thank you so much for considering joining the Upstream Journal.
